The First Posh Cabin Hostel in Singapore
A Chinatown hostel that seamlessly brings together hotel amenities with private and spacious train cabin style dormitories, all housed in a converted shophouse on South Bridge Road.
Adler’s art deco exterior and smart interiors are attractive, as are the prices. Rates for a dorm spot start at US$35.
Chinatown is a popular place to stay on a budget, because of the abundance of cheap food and places to go out at night. The neighborhood is close to both Sentosa and Orchard Road, only 2 stops each on the MRT train network. The Chinatown MRT (NE4/DT19) station is only 7-minutes walk from Adler.
Many of the guests staying here are solo travelers from all walks of life, from young professionals to new retirees out to explore the world. It’s a friendly crowd who respect others space and keep the noise down at night.

Probably the best hostel I’ve even stayed in. After travelling across Asia, Indonesia and Australia Adler was my last stop before home..it was so much more than a hostel and made my last few days travelling such a pleasure; luxurious bedding, comfortable beds, space, privacy, free super fast wifi, tasty breakfast, free bottled water and fluffy towels.
Admittedly it’s a little more expensive than you’re typical hostel but in my opinion, worth every penny! The staff were also very helpful and re tourist attractions and sight seeing & I would most certainly return to this place if I ever come back to Singapore!
Thank you for a wonderful stay :). – littlegem30 of London at TripAdvisor
