Porcelain Hotel by JL Asia
The blue and white theme of this hotel was inspired by the famous Chinese pottery, which is fitting as it is only a 3 minute walk from Chinatown MRT train station at the namesake district.
The hotel is housed in a row of pre-war shophouses, with cozy boutique style rooms with rates from US$90 per night.
In terms on traveling around the city, it’s only a 45 minute train ride on the MRT from Changi Airport, three stops from Orchard Road and six from Marina Bay Sands.
There is enough to see and do in the neighborhood, so it’s ideal for exploring on foot. Ann Siang Hill with its colorful shophouses, Sri Mariamman Temple and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum are all nearby.
Make the most of the fabulous Chinese cuisine the area is famous for. Mosque Street where the hotel is located is also famous for family run Korean restaurants, and fans of Teochew cuisine from Eastern China will love Lee Kui (Ah Hoi), only a few blocks down from the hotel.

Porcelain is an extremely clean and comfortable place to stay. The location is good. Middle of Chinatown with great restaurants across the road.
The bathroom is clean and comfortable. I stayed in the Superior Queen room and that includes a jacuzzi. Nice. The WiFi is ok. Free coffee and tea in the room. This was my second stay at the porcelain and it was not my last.
I travel to Singapore on a regular basis and tried many different places. I’ll stick to this. – Francois331 of Thailand at TripAdvisor
